Before start with the About Page, I would like to thank you to be here reading what I write on this Blog. My name is Mirko Bonadei, I am Italian and I live in a little town near Bergamo. I work in a little company and in the meanwhile I study Computer Science at the University Bicocca of Milan to complete my qualification.
The first time I heard about Erlang was in January, when a dear friend of mine advised me to add to my background preparation some Erlang skills. Before that advice I hadn’t studied a Functional Programming language for about six years. He said to me that in the future, Erlang which is a niche language at the moment, could reach the mainstream, because of some of its major features. These features are matching more and more with the requests of some systems and applications in the IT world.
In this Blog I aim to share thoughts, experiences, ideas, perhaps projects about Erlang, Functional and Concurrent Programming. At the start, since I am a junior developer, my posts could be beginner level posts, but I hope I will raise my level in the next months, maybe with some advices from the readers.
For those who can speak Italian, at this link, you can find my personal blog. Ciao
